Acquisition Announcement – Your Questions Answered

What is happening?

On 12th May 2016 Majenta Solutions Limited, a leading provider of product development, manufacturing and product lifecycle management solutions, announced that we have acquired the Dassault Systèmes Value-Added Reseller (VAR) business of TATA Technologies Europe Limited.

This means that any customer of TATA Technologies that purchased software from the Dassault Systèmes portfolio of solutions will now be supported by Majenta Solutions for all current and new requirements.

As a customer that uses Dassault Systèmes software you may also receive services from TATA that are unrelated to the applications from Dassault Systèmes, these services will continue to be delivered in the same way. Your account manager will make contact with you in the coming days to address any questions you may have regarding this.

How will this change of ownership impact me?

Many of the people that you have been working with at TATA in recent years will be working with the teams at Majenta and Dassault Systèmes to transition your account. We hope to make this as seamless as possible and will communicate any anticipated challenges with you.

There are a number TATA Technologies staff that will move to Majenta as part of this acquisition and so you may continue to work with the same individuals moving forward. We do expect to restructure our customer facing teams to some extent to ensure that our customers receive the full benefits of combining the skills of both organisations. These changes will be communicated to you in the coming days.

Will there be any staffing changes that might affect me?

There are a number TATA Technologies staff that will move to Majenta as part of this acquisition and so you may continue to work with the same individuals moving forward. Will my support contact change?

Yes. The current first line support is provided by TATA engineers based out of their Indian operations. Majenta’s highly experienced support team will be based out of our offices in Coventry.

We are working with TATA to transition any open cases over to Majenta’s support platform so you should not expect to see any interruption of service or support.

Will my Dassault Systèmes renewal date be affected?

No your renewal date will not be affected.

Majenta, TATA and Dassault Systèmes have provisioned a dedicated team to ensure all renewals are transferred without interruption.

Will I need to set up a new account with Majenta Solutions?

A large proportion of the customers transitioning from TATA Technologies have been established customers of Majenta for many years so you may already have a trading account set up with Majenta Solutions.

If you have not traded with Majenta Solutions in the past then we will ask you to complete a simple application form so that we can enter your details onto our systems correctly.

If you have not traded with Majenta Solutions in the past, we may not be on your internal systems and may need to work with your administration teams to set us up as a supplier. If this is the case, then please email us at info@majentasolutions.com and we will ask your account manager to contact you with the required information.

What will happen next?

The Majenta team will contact you to introduce themselves and to address any questions that you have. They will be keen to meet with you at your earliest convenience so that they can fully understand your business and requirements to ensure that we fully meet and hopefully exceed your expectations.

We will be hosting a number of ‘Welcome Events’ that will have speakers from TATA, Majenta as well as Dassault Systèmes. These events will give you the opportunity to meet with the teams that will be working with you as well as to hear about the exciting propositions from Dassault Systèmes and Majenta solutions portfolio.

Does Dassault Systèmes support this transition?

Yes. Both TATA and Majenta have consulted with Dassault Systèmes throughout this acquisition process and we have been assured of their support during this entire transition phase.

Dassault Systèmes are keen to work with Majenta to understand how we are using their solutions and how you can maximise the return on the investments you have made in their portfolio.
